Fabric Custom Tailored Suits

21 micron Wool

Vitale Barberis Canonico’s exact recipe for their 21 Micron fabrics is a close-kept secret, even we don’t know! Their journey towards creating this fabric involved extensive research throughout Argentina and Uruguay, in a great quest to find the ideal weather conditions and animal breeders that shared their same values about quality natural products and welfare of the animals. The result is the strictest quality control measures, and an incredibly resistant suit material that is intentionally thicker, stretchy, and of course elegant in nature.

90s & Extrafine Wool

These custom tailored suits have a more traditional look & feel - the sturdy wool fabrics provide a creaseless drape and are excellent for travel. Extrafine suits are suitable for all gentleman, and we can tailor to your slim, tailored or classic fit preferances.

Super 100s - 120s Wool

Tailored for a great fit with your measurements, our high quality Super 100S-120S fabrics set the benchmark for a superb standard of Monday-Friday professional attire. Let our 100 wool suits see you to your office door with tremendous style and confidence.

Super 130s - 140s Wool

Time to get a little fancy - With a high wool-rating Super 130S - 140S fabric, our customers can be sure to appreciate a superior, unmatched suit experience. Even though 130S - 140S wool suits are extremely high, fine quality, they still maintain the same durability characteristics of a suit with a lower Super S rating - Gone are the days when premium suits could only be worn for special occasions!

Super 150s Wool

Vitale Barberis have mastered the Super 150S quality. In the past we'd advise customers to only wear their Super 150S suits once a week, but not anymore - their 150 wool suits perform very, very well - scoring the same 20 000 rubs as their Super 110S fabrics on our favorite durability test - the Martindale Abrasion test.
We love all of our fabrics, each have their own charm and advantages (we love the Bottoli tweeds, the Angelico linens, the Reda merino-wool, Alfred Brown etc), the Super 150S fabrics by Vitale Barberis Canonico are probably as close as it gets to being the best suit fabric.

Wool & Cashmere

High quality wool fabrics that are blended with premium cashmere for the ultimate in softness, durability and comfort. A man in a cashmere wool suit knows his style and likely knows his barber on first name terms also. Attention is in the details, and fine quality is the only proper approach to sophisticated menswear.

Linen

The Italian mill Angelico weaves our favorite fabrics for linen suits - they crease a bit less than most linen fabrics and the melange colors are just beautiful. Customize your suit with wide notch lapels, unpadded shoulders, patch pockets and 3-roll-2 buttoning for a casual look inspired by Neapolitan tailoring, or pick out your preferences from our many options. Consider going with half lining to make your suit even lighter and more breathable.

Wool & Mohair

Mohair makes the thread sturdier, resulting in a fabric which is very light, yet more durable than most summer fabrics. Wool mohair suits are not overly common, the fabrics are difficult to weave and most mills avoid them, but Vitale Barberis Canonico are famed for their mastery of wool-mohair fabrics. Such a fine rare gem will be sure to turn heads by the men who appreciate such qualities in a suit.
